This was an architectural design solution for the proposed iconic building at the central business district of New Town, Kolkata. The project brief was to accommodate all major usage of a city such as dwelling units, hotel rooms, office spaces & retail spaces in one single vertical iconic tower. This futuristic built form was envisioned as a response to the project brief while keeping the flexibility for interchangeable ratios of different user groups to address any kind of change in market dynamics in terms of requirement for a particular use over the other. The stepped terraces, one of the most prominent features of the building, were provided to create a geometric configuration that exalts the connection between human, built and natural environment.
